Lotus Elise Universal Fit Battery Tie Down
This is an upgraded battery bracket that is a universal fit: It fits the OEM battery, as well as the popular Deka ETX20L AGM battery that many people run in these cars, and any size battery in between. It may also work with smaller lithium batteries, although that may require an additional spacer block to position the battery more centered in the bracket area.
As many people know, the OEM bracket is a weak point of the Elise, and can lead to the battery flopping around in the trunk, especially when driven hard for track days or autocross. There are other options for swapping in smaller brackets, but as far as we know, this is the only aftermarket bracket that is designed to fit the OEM battery, with a bonus of fitting many other smaller batteries, as well.
The brackets are made from 304 Stainless steel. The strap is Polypropylene (best chemical resistance for battery acid) with a stainless steel buckle.

(Please note my original upgrade battery bracket, which was designed to fit only the OEM battery, has been discontinued in favor of this newer design. The newer design is much more secure, cheaper, and fits more battery sizes, so it's a better option in all the important ways.)
